普通学生签证 STUDY PERMIT

You should apply for study permit before you travel to Canada to study more than 6 months.

想来加拿大留学的国际留学生，如果你申请的课程超过六个月以上需要申请学习许可来加拿大留学。

1. About The Process

A study permit is usually valid for the length of your study program, plus an extra 90 days. The 90 days let you prepare to leave Canada or apply to extend your stay.

6. 抵达加拿大

首次前往加拿大时需要带上您的护照及学签获批通知信入境，在入境海关处（CBSA）换领学习许可（Study Permit）；在学期间需要符合学签要求的校内外打工规定，购买医疗保险；在出入境加拿大时确认加拿大学签的有效性。

关于普通学生签证(学习许可)

The study permit is a document we issue that allows foreign nationals to study at designated learning institutions (DLI) in Canada. Your study permit is not a visa. It doesn’t let you enter Canada. You may also need a visitor visa. If we approve your study permit, we’ll issue one to you with your study permit.

学习许可是加拿大移民局签发的证明外国人可以来加拿大DLI资质的学校留学的一个文件。学习许可是不允许进入加拿大的一个有效文件。如果我们获批了你的学习许可，将会签发临时居民签证贴在你的护照上，此签证可以用于往返于加拿大。
