You should apply for study permit before you travel to Canada to study more than 6 months

想来加拿大留学的国际留学生，如果你申请的课程超过六个月以上需要申请学习许可来加拿大留学。

SDS学生直录计划

Student Direct Stream（SDS）- Some international students can get their study permits faster by using the SDS. IRCC processes most SDS applications within 20 calendar days if the eligibility requirements are met.

国际留学生可以通过学生直录计划快速获得学签。

如果符合条件者移民局仅需20个工作日审理学签者。

游学/夏令营签证

Short-term students(studying for six months or less) – All persons coming to Canada who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents can request to enter as a student. When they enter Canada they are given temporary resident status for a limited period of time.

短期学生（学习时间6个月或以下）- 当学生申请来加拿大参加短期学习，可以获得指定时间的短期学生签证。

返加签证（国际学生）

A study permit is not a visa. We won’t automatically issue you a visitor visa if you extend your  study permit. If you want to leave and return to Canada in the near future, You can apply for a visitor visa.

学习许可不是一个签证,如果您需要离开或者返回加拿大,移民局不会自动签发一个返加签证,这个签证需要您向移民局提交申请。
